Job Overview

BetterHelp is seeking fully licensed mental health professionals to provide remote therapy services to clients via an online platform. This role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care while the platform manages client acquisition, scheduling, billing, and administrative work.

This is a fully remote position designed for therapists who want flexibility, autonomy, and a steady caseload without private practice overhead.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care Delivery

Provide individual, couples, or teen therapy via live online sessions
Deliver evidence-based counseling tailored to client needs
Maintain professional standards of care and ethical practice

Client Engagement & Treatment

Build therapeutic relationships and support ongoing client progress
Develop and adjust treatment plans based on clinical needs
Ensure consistent, high-quality client experience across sessions

Platform-Based Practice

Conduct sessions through the BetterHelp digital platform
Manage caseload independently with flexible scheduling
Participate in a fully remote care delivery model

Required Qualifications

Active independent clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, Psychologist, PsyD, etc.)
Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Minimum 3+ years of clinical counseling experience
Ability to provide therapy without supervision
U.S. residency and valid work authorization
Professional liability insurance
Private, secure workspace and reliable high-speed internet

Preferred Experience

Experience treating adults, couples, and/or adolescents
Familiarity with telehealth or online therapy platforms
Strong written communication skills
Experience managing independent caseloads
