Software and Controls Engineer – GM Defense – On-site

General Motors is moving quickly to deliver advanced mobility solutions for government markets. We are seeking a highly capable Software & Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement custom embedded control algorithms. This role supports applications for GM Defense across both vehicle and non-vehicle platforms and is based in Milford, MI on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design custom embedded control algorithms.
• Develop software and controls solutions for embedded systems.
• Implement algorithms and controller code for use in both vehicle and non-vehicle applications.

What we’re looking for

• A highly capable Software & Controls Engineer with experience in embedded control algorithm work (details on specific technologies and qualifications will be discussed during the hiring process).
• Ability to support both vehicle and non-vehicle applications within the GM Defense program.
