Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Remote
We are seeking Senior “Everything Engineers” with a Backend focus to join Redhorse Corporation’s remote, full-time engineering team. In this role you will help modernize a mission-critical legacy system and migrate it to a modern web ecosystem. The modernization effort will follow an Agentic AI Software Development Lifecycle and will leverage AI-led tooling such as Claude to accelerate design, development, testing, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead backend-focused engineering work to modernize a mission-critical legacy application and integrate it into a modern web ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute migration, refactoring, and integration tasks across the stack as required.
- Work within an Agentic AI Software Development Lifecycle, using AI-led tools (for example, Claude) to support coding, testing, and delivery activities.
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture, and implementation approaches that ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability of the modernized system.
- Mentor other engineers and promote best practices for a pragmatic, quality-driven development process.
Qualifications & Profile
- Senior-level engineer with a strong backend focus (seniority and backend emphasis are required).
- Comfortable operating as a versatile “Everything Engineer” who can contribute across the stack while concentrating on backend responsibilities.
- Experience or willingness to work with AI-led development workflows and agentic AI processes is expected.
- Ability to work remotely on a full-time basis with cross-functional teams.
