Shield Consulting Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role you will apply DevOps practices to build, deploy, and operate containerized applications using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with peers across mid- to large-sized teams. The position requires a strong understanding of Agile software development and a customer-focused approach.

Primary Responsibilities

Implement, manage, and troubleshoot containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Design, set up, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, repeatable software delivery.
Apply Agile and DevOps practices to support development and operations workflows.
Work closely with peers across mid- to large-sized teams to coordinate deployments and operational changes.
Focus on understanding customers’ needs and incorporate that understanding into operational decisions and processes.

Key Qualifications

Familiarity with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience or practical understanding of setting up CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Ability to collaborate effectively with peers across mid- to large-sized teams.
