Azure DevOps Engineer – Maryland
The Senior Technical Lead for DevOps Solutions (Azure DevOps / Kubernetes) will oversee the technical direction and delivery of DevOps initiatives for Openkyber. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps practices and solutions—particularly using Kubernetes and Azure DevOps tools—and for managing and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers to ensure the efficient delivery and operation of software projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for DevOps solutions with a focus on Kubernetes and Azure DevOps tools.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, promoting best practices and improving team delivery and operational capabilities.
- Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure operation of software projects in production and pre-production environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and other cross-functional teams to align DevOps efforts with project goals and delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Senior-level experience with DevOps practices and solutions, including hands-on work with Kubernetes and Azure DevOps tools.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring DevOps engineers or technical teams.
- Strong understanding of deployment automation, CI/CD processes, and operational practices required to run software projects efficiently.
- Ability to drive technical decisions, establish standards and processes, and coordinate across engineering teams.
