AI Engineer – Microsoft Copilot / LLM / Python – Michigan
We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer with a minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience to work on AI projects that leverage Microsoft Copilot Studio, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows with vector databases. This full-time role requires strong Python programming skills and deep familiarity with the end-to-end development and integration of LLM-based solutions.
What you will work on
- Design and build AI solutions that use Microsoft Copilot Studio and contemporary LLMs.
- Perform prompt engineering and fine-tuning to optimize model responses for target use cases.
- Implement RAG pipelines and manage vector database workflows for retrieval and similarity search.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain Python-based components that connect models, data stores, and application layers.
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Substantial experience with large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
- Proficient in Python for developing model-related systems and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with RAG approaches and working with vector databases.
