UX Designer, AI App – New York
Our objective is to make daily task completion enjoyable while reducing the time users spend on those tasks by approximately ~90%*. As the UX Designer for Bjak’s AI app, you will be the primary owner of A1’s core app experience: designing the end-to-end flows users move through every day—how they start tasks and how they follow along as the AI supports them throughout those tasks.
Role overview
- End-to-end ownership: Lead the UX design for A1’s core application experience, defining and refining the daily flows and interaction patterns users rely on.
- Task-centered design: Design how users initiate and progress through tasks and how the interface communicates the AI’s activity and status as those tasks proceed.
- User experience goals: Prioritize usability and delight with a focus on dramatically reducing time-to-completion for routine tasks while maintaining clarity and confidence in AI-driven interactions.
What success looks like
- Users complete their daily tasks more quickly and with higher satisfaction.
- Core app flows are intuitive, consistent, and clearly communicate the AI’s role and progress.
- Design decisions measurably contribute to the product objective of ~90%* time reduction in target tasks.
