Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Remote
To support this mission, Redhorse Corporation is seeking Senior “Everything Engineers” with a Backend focus. In this Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer role you will help modernize a mission-critical legacy system and transition it to a modern web ecosystem by participating in an Agentic AI Software Development Lifecycle. You will work with AI-led tools such as Claude as part of that development process.
Key responsibilities
- Modernize a mission‑critical legacy application and help migrate or rearchitect components into a modern web ecosystem.
- Work as a full-stack engineer with a primary emphasis on backend design and implementation.
- Participate in an Agentic AI Software Development Lifecycle, leveraging AI-led tools (for example, Claude) to accelerate and guide development tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to integrate legacy functionality into the new ecosystem and ensure continuity of critical services.
- Contribute to development workflows and tooling that incorporate AI assistance within the software delivery process.
What we’re looking for
- Senior-level Full-Stack Software Engineer with a Backend focus (title: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer).
- Experience modernizing or migrating legacy systems to modern web-based architectures and working within AI-assisted development processes.
- Familiarity with AI-led tooling and Agentic AI Software Development Lifecycle concepts; experience using tools such as Claude is expected.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, full-time role and to collaborate across distributed teams.
