TTEC is seeking a Manager – Web Development & UI/UX to lead and manage a cross-functional team of developers and designers responsible for delivering high-quality web and digital experiences.

This role focuses on team leadership, client engagement, and delivery management, ensuring that all project requirements are translated into structured timelines, clear deliverables, and successful execution. Rather than hands-on coding or design, this position is responsible for guiding technical direction, managing performance, and ensuring strong collaboration between design and development teams.

You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams while driving delivery excellence, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

• Build and lead a cross-functional team of UI/UX designers and web developers.
• Partner with recruitment to hire and onboard new team members.
• Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development support.
• Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and resource planning.
• Establish workflows, delivery processes, and collaboration tools.

Client Engagement & Delivery Management

• Serve as the main point of contact for client communication.
• Conduct meetings, status updates, and governance sessions.
• Translate client requirements into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and handle scope changes.
• Ensure transparent reporting and strong client relationships.

Technical & UI/UX Oversight

• Guide frontend architecture decisions (React, responsive design, accessibility).
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Oversee UI/UX design quality, including wireframes, prototypes, and final outputs.
• Partner with design leads to maintain consistency and usability standards.
• Support implementation of design systems and UI frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders.
• Align design intent with technical execution.
• Facilitate collaboration between developers and designers.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Define and improve frontend and UI/UX best practices.
• Promote efficient workflows, reusable components, and standardization.
• Encourage adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and design systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends in UI/UX and frontend development.

Quality & Governance

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Maintain consistency across design and development outputs.
• Implement review processes to ensure quality and reduce defects.
• Oversee usability and performance optimization practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience in frontend development, UI/UX design, or related fields.
• Proven experience in team leadership or mentoring roles.
• Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Experience with design systems and usability principles.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-level web or UI/UX projects.
• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of modern frontend workflows and Git-based development.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and scalable architecture.
• Experience working with distributed or global teams.
• Exposure to enterprise design systems and UX governance.
