Axway / Apigee API Developer – Remote
We are seeking an API Developer to lead and execute the end-to-end migration of legacy Axway and Apigee Private Cloud/Edge APIs to Apigee Hybrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and performing the technical migration activities, validating migrated APIs, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to Apigee Hybrid.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the end-to-end migration of legacy Axway and Apigee Private Cloud/Edge APIs to Apigee Hybrid.
- Analyze existing API proxies, policies, and configurations to define migration approaches and timelines.
- Implement and configure API proxies in Apigee Hybrid to match required functionality and performance.
- Validate migrated APIs through testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification.
- Document migration steps, configuration changes, and operational procedures required for the new environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate cutovers and minimize service disruption.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Axway API management products.
- Hands-on experience with Apigee Private Cloud and/or Apigee Edge.
- Practical experience with Apigee Hybrid and migrating APIs to Apigee Hybrid.
- Demonstrated experience executing API migration or modernization projects, including analysis, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and validation skills for API behavior and performance post-migration.
