Mechanical Engineer * – On-site
As a Mechanical Engineer at HDR, you will work closely with architects, other engineering disciplines, contractors, marketing team members, and additional project staff to deliver engineering solutions. Your primary responsibilities include producing feasibility reports, preparing construction documents and specifications, performing engineering calculations, and managing RFI responses and shop drawing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, other engineering disciplines, contractors, marketing members, and all other team members to support project objectives.
- Develop feasibility reports to evaluate project options and constraints.
- Prepare construction documents, including drawings and related technical materials.
- Write and develop project specifications.
- Perform engineering calculations to support design decisions and documentation.
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage shop drawing review/coordination.
