AWS Cognito and Okta IAM Engineer – On-site

We are seeking a Senior AWS Cognito and Okta IAM Engineer to design, implement, and support secure identity and access management solutions. In this role you will architect and operationalize user authentication and authorization using AWS Cognito and Okta, create and maintain operational runbooks, and work closely with application, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure secure, reliable identity services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement: Architect and deploy identity and access management solutions leveraging AWS Cognito and Okta to meet business and security requirements.
• Operational support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for identity systems, ensuring availability and secure operation.
• Runbooks and documentation: Create, maintain, and update operational runbooks, playbooks, and technical documentation to support day-to-day operations and incident response.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with application, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise architecture teams to integrate IAM solutions, align on controls, and drive secure implementations.
• Best practices and guidance: Apply IAM best practices and provide technical guidance to stakeholders to ensure secure access patterns and compliance with organizational requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience working with AWS Cognito and Okta in production environments.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and support identity and access management solutions.
• Experience producing and maintaining operational runbooks and technical documentation.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with application, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, compliance, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Demonstrated focus on security, reliability, and operational readiness for IAM services.
