We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the team supporting HSBC. The role focuses on maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, building infrastructure automation and platform engineering capabilities, and supporting engineering teams to adopt DevOps best practices that emphasize reliability, repeatability, observability, and secure-by-design deployments.

Key responsibilities

Maintain and operate CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to ensure reliable, repeatable releases.
Design, build and improve infrastructure automation and platform engineering capabilities to support development and operations teams.
Work with engineering teams to promote and implement DevOps best practices, including reliability, repeatability, observability and secure-by-design deployments.

Required capabilities

Proven ability to maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Experience building infrastructure automation and platform engineering capabilities.
Ability to support engineering teams in applying DevOps best practices focused on reliability, repeatability, observability and security by design.
