Openkyber is seeking a seasoned Senior Platform Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience to join our team. This full-time role focuses on platform and DevOps engineering work centered on GCP and is based in Arizona. (Note: the original posting also referenced Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; and New York.)
About the role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and operation of platform and DevOps capabilities with an emphasis on Google Cloud Platform. This position requires an experienced engineer who can apply deep DevOps knowledge and hands-on GCP experience to support and evolve our platform.
Key responsibilities
- Perform platform and DevOps engineering tasks focused on Google Cloud Platform.
- Contribute to the maintenance, reliability, and evolution of platform infrastructure and tooling.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enable effective deployment, monitoring, and operational practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Approximately 6+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of focused experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Senior-level platform engineering experience.
