Multimedia Graphic Designer
Job Overview
The SRPMIC is seeking a Multimedia Graphic Designer to serve as a visual storyteller responsible for creating engaging, educational, and impactful multimedia content. This role involves designing digital and print materials, producing photography and video content, and supporting large-scale multimedia production efforts.
The ideal candidate is highly creative, technically skilled, and able to translate concepts into visually compelling communication across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development
- Create dynamic content for digital signage and communication platforms (indoor and outdoor)
- Develop innovative design concepts and improve creative workflows
- Produce content packages for multi-platform distribution
Graphic Design
- Design marketing, promotional, and communication materials
- Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and visual standards
- Deliver complete design packages for internal and external use
Photography & Field Production
- Capture professional photography using DSLR cameras
- Apply advanced lighting techniques for studio and field environments
- Operate drones for aerial photography and video capture
- Edit and process RAW images using Adobe Lightroom
Video, Motion Graphics & Audio Production
- Create motion graphics and animations using Adobe Creative Suite
- Produce and edit high-quality video content for multimedia projects
- Record and edit studio audio, including podcast content
- Integrate motion graphics into video production workflows
Large Format Production
- Operate large format printers for banners, signage, and display materials
- Perform print production tasks including mounting, trimming, and finishing
- Ensure quality control of all printed materials
Asset Management & Documentation
- Organize and maintain multimedia assets for archival purposes
- Ensure proper version control and file naming conventions
- Maintain structured digital asset management systems
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Animation, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 2+ years of professional experience in multimedia or graphic design
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Audition)
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles and visual storytelling
- Experience in photography and DSLR camera operation
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License required
- Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and drug/alcohol screening
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
