Web Solutions Technical Lead
Addison Group is seeking a Web Solutions Technical Lead to support TechOps in maintaining and evolving public-facing web platforms. This role provides technical leadership across CMS development, web operations, and platform architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical oversight of web and CMS architecture, including integrations, APIs, and deployment workflows
- Review vendor-delivered code and perform light development (bug fixes, configurations)
- Support CMS rebuild initiatives and global portal development
- Ensure platform stability, security, and performance across environments
- Manage testing, staging, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with UX, design, and Digital Experience teams for user-centered solutions
Technical Focus:
- CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
- API integrations, OAuth/SSO workflows
- Cloud environments (AWS), CDN, caching, and performance optimization
- CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and deployment strategies
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural standards
- Guide vendor teams and ensure alignment with best practices
Requirements:
- Strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on CMS and web architecture experience
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with modern web technologies (PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Proven experience reviewing vendor code and managing integrations
