Junior WordPress Designer/Developer
Joy Education Foundation is seeking a Junior WordPress Designer/Developer to support ongoing website development initiatives. This role focuses on building and maintaining high-quality WordPress pages using low-code/no-code tools, contributing to digital products that improve literacy access for underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop WordPress pages using tools like Elementor and Gutenberg
- Update and manage website content with a focus on usability and consistency
- Work independently to complete development tasks and meet deadlines
- Document progress, iterations, and updates clearly
- Communicate project status, challenges, and feedback effectively
- Follow established design systems and implement revisions promptly
Collaboration:
- Partner with Product Management and Design teams during weekly syncs
- Align development work with user-centered design principles
- Support testing cycles and feature enhancements (AI & gamification)
- Contribute to pilot programs across literacy initiatives
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with WordPress and page builders
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clear written communication and documentation skills
- Reliability and responsiveness in a remote work environment
